Probiotic Bacteria in My Diet
To say the least, things have been bumpy lately.
I moved across town. I’m totally excited about the move but whether I’m happy about it or not, moving is considered to be a major life event – or in stress terms: a major external stressor (not to mention that it was postponed by a week due [...]

Probiotics and Fertility Diet – Part 1
Life is returning to normal, so I’m back to upgrading my fertility diet. I mentioned in my blog, Upgrading My Fertility Diet that I’ll be adding two critical – and missing – components to my fertility diet: probiotic bacteria and enzymes.
As you may have guessed by the title, for this blog I’ll be covering the [...]

Upgrading My Fertility Diet
Why do I want to upgrade a fertility diet that has done such amazing things for my body so far – like shorten my menstrual cycles, increase my energy, eliminate my acne and regulate my digestive system?
Because it seems like there’s still a piece of the puzzle missing.
My cycles are still too long (at 36 [...]

Forgiving
The fertility diet was taking hold. The holidays came and went with an outpouring of support from family and friends. They adjusted menus, cancelled chocolate gifts, and offered me support instead of cookies.
It was going great.
That is until I left for a one week ski trip.
Here I am hiking up in search of great snow – found it. [...]

Letting Your Family Help You
It’s time to say it: Infertility Sucks.
The holidays don’t make this any easier as pregnant women seem to be out in droves and you wish you were hanging ornaments on your tree that said ‘My First Christmas.’
No ornaments, no big belly - just a fertility diet that clashes with Christmas buffets like Crocs with an [...]

I have no more muscle cramps
In short - I feel great!
There have been setbacks and long periods [...]

Infertility Culprit: Gluten
What’s gluten?
Gluten is a protein found in wheat, rye and barley. It turns out that in approximately 1 out of 100 healthy Americans the immune system responds to the consumption of this protein by attacking the wall of the small intestine – harming its ability to absorb nutrients from food. An astonishing 97% of these [...]

Find Out What You’re Eating
It has to happen now and then. I take the palm of my hand to my forehead and say, “Why didn’t I do this sooner?”
I was reading Fertility Foods by Jeremy Groll, and he casually wrote that one of his patients uses an online food log to help her keep track of what she’s really [...]

Digestive Health: A Fertility Diet Principle
My digestive system has quite a personality. And I mean that literally. When it’s not working right, it influences my mood drastically. I’ve been known to head into the bathroom in the morning in a foul mood emerging a short time later with my hands in the air and a smile on my face screaming, [...]
